Dayton Martial Arts School Teaches Self-Defense and Focus

Dayton, Ohio – This Dayton martial arts school teaches self-defense focus and fitness. Most of our young students come to us to focus or behavior in the classroom. In fact, martial arts has long attracted younger students because it can help to improve focus when taught well (and our instructors are the best at teaching kids how to improve focus in the Miami Valley!) Self-defense, and especially, the proper way to defeat a bully and/or a stranger, is also something that we excel at teaching. It is ironic though, that martial arts, which was originally designed to improve fighting skill of soldiers over a thousand years ago, has evolved to become a focus enhancing, self-defense training program for children.

Children love our fast paced, positive and energetic classes. All of our instructors go through extensive background checks and ongoing training in keeping children safe in our classes. Adults love our detailed, vigorous classes and instructors with years of experience training, studying, and teaching martial arts. We keep children and adults separate in different classes so that we can give both groups what they need.

The Asian Arts Center Taekwonodo School started as Centerville Taekwondo at the Crosspoint Shopping Center in 1998, moved to a larger space across from the Dorothy Lane Market at Far Hills on Whipp Rd, and finally bought it’s current location, a 12,000 square foot building next to the world headquarters on Cassano’s Pizza on Stroop Rd in 2005.

Classes at the Asian Arts Center Taekwondo School are vigorous and focused. Our programs teach focus, self-discipline, anti-bullying, self-esteem building, leadership training, and practical self-defense for children and adults in the Miami Valley. Our students come from all over the metro Dayton area, including Kettering, Oakwood, Centerville, Springboro, Bellbrook, Beavercreek, Miamisburg, West Carrolton, the Wright Patterson Air Force Base, Vandalia, Fairborn, Englewood, and all other contingent communities.

DOES THIS BULLY GO TO YOUR CHILD’S SCHOOL?

Dayton, Ohio – Will you let this foul mouthed, angry, little bully continue to use your child as a punching bag this year? Not if you enroll your child in this Dayton Martial Arts School.

What do you say to your child when he comes home in tears day after day, you see his self esteem smashed to pieces, and his excitement for school turn into anxiety and fear? That angry little bully with his fists clenched and his mean, and abusive taunts can make school hell for an innocent child in our politically correct, “make a good choice” world, where teachers don’t always have the answers or ability to keep your child safe. When you give your child the physical skills, powerful words, and rock solid confidence to defend himself against a bully, he will like school more, be better at making new friends, and feel more comfortable trying new things. Because you can’t be with your child every time he gets picked on and teased, give him the best lessons in self defense and anti-bullying training available in the Miami Valley. Try our best martial arts program for six weeks. We will teach your child how to stop the bully without having to fight and without getting pushed around. He will also know how to protect himself from strangers and bullying attacks outside of school. Wouldn’t you like to see your child happy and confident about going to school because he knows how to physically and verbally defend himself?

Martial Arts In Dayton For Children

Dayton, Ohio – the Asian Arts Center Taekwondo School is the best place for children (and adults) to take martial arts classes in the Miami Valley.

Head Instructor Matt Pasquinilli founded the nonprofit Asian Arts Center shortly after moving to the Dayton area over twenty years ago. “We started the Asian Arts Center to provide professional martial arts instruction to children and adults who wanted to build confidence, increase focus, improve fitness, and learn practical self-defense.” Pasquinilli says. “Our teaching method was created using the best positive reinforcement language and a model of challenge and support that makes martial arts classes at the Asian Arts Center Taekwondo School the most effective in the entire Miami Valley.”

The Asian Arts Center Taekwondo School teaches other styles of martial arts in addition to Taekwondo and includes Karate, KingFu, Kali, and jujitsu techniques in most of its programs. Boxing fitness and Muay Thai Kickboxing fitness are also very popular classes taught at the Asian Arts Center.

Martial Arts For Athletic Children In Dayton Ohio

Martial arts is a unique sport. In fact, it’s far more than a sport because it has practical self defense application, mindfulness training, and artistic expression. But it is very much an athletic pursuit. With all of the cross body movements, core muscle development, power muscle group engagement, and explosiveness training, Martial Arts at the Asian Arts Center Taekwondo School is like Kumon for athletes. And children and adults who play other sports become far more mentally focused, confident, and are physically better at skills that are specific to those other sports. They literally dominate the field in a positive and competitive way, and so get more playing time, score more points, and are handed more leadership opportunities with their team. All of these reasons and more are why many of our black belts are also star athletes in other sports.

The Asian Arts Center Taekwondo School provides Martial Arts, Self-defense, and fitness programs for children and adults in the Miami Valley. Communities served are Dayton, Kettering, Vandalia, Oakwood, Bellbrook, Beavercreek, Springboro, Centerville, the Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, And all other contingent communities.
